I really want to buy this for Ella.
But I won’t.
Partly because it’s not in the budget, but mostly because I know that Cooper would end up playing with it more, and I think that’d scar me…

Do they make a guitar with a truck or football on it?

We stayed over at Jennie’s Mom & Dad (Yaya & Papa)’s house Saturday night which is just 1.5 miles from the church.
So I zipped back over to pick up Jennie and the kids between rehearsal and the first service and had a chance to snap a few pics in Yaya’s garden in the great morning light…

Ella has long proven herself as a fashionista. That was evident very early.
She’s now taken it a step further…
Yesterday she moved the ottoman tables 90 degrees out from the couch to form her form her own personal catwalk.
“Daddy, look at this pose! Now this one!”
Yes, trust me, I’m praying….
Today is my birthday, which apparently is of great concern to Ella.
Ella (in the backseat, with worry in her voice): “Daddy, you’re going to have to get a new car!
Me: “Really? Why?”
Ella: “Because when you have your Birthday you get bigger, and your head will bump the top of your car!”
I think she’s right…

… and this Mercedes SLR McLaren Roadster is a sensible choice at only $495,000.
It’s reliable and safe, with 0-60 mph acceleration of 3.8 seconds and a top speed of 206 mph.
And it’d be great for my growing head, thanks to its fully retractable top. The SLR Roadster offers open-air driving pleasure that’s practical for everyday use. Even with the top down, conversation is still possible at speeds well over 120 mph, thanks to its superior aeroacoustics.
So I could get Ella to school in a fraction of the time, and still have meaningful conversation…
Children – consider this a friendly warning…

And then your parents will be forced to enjoy a quiet, peaceful car ride.
So just say “no” to playgrounds!
